We appreciate your interest in Charlotte County Public Schools. All applications must meet Virginia Licensure requirements in order to be considered for instructional positions.

CCPS accepts applications for all classifications of employees year-round. Applications submitted to the School Board Office stay in an active pool of candidates for one calendar year. At that point, the application must be updated to remain current or a new application should be completed. In the event of a vacancy, CCPS will review the current pool of applications and select qualified individuals for interviews.

Charlotte County Public Schools Nondiscrimination Policy

In compliance with the Executive Order 112466: Title II of the Education Amendments of 1976; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended by the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972; Title IX Regulation Implementing Education Amendments of 1972; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and all other Federal, State, School rules, laws, regulations, and policies, Charlotte County Public Schools shall not discriminate on the basis of sex, age, race, color, national origin, religion or disabling condition in the educational programs or activities which it operates and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.

It is the intent of Charlotte County Public Schools to comply with both the letter and spirit of the law in making certain discrimination does not exist in its policies, regulations and operations. Grievance procedures, for Title IX, ADA and Section 504, have been established for students, their parents and employees who feel discrimination has been shown by Charlotte County Public Schools.

Specific complaints of alleged discrimination under Title IX (sex) should be referred to Mrs. Sharon Hall, Executive Director of Instruction or Dr. Nancy Leonard, Superintendent at (434) 542-5151. Specific complaints under Section 504 (handicap) and ADA should be referred to Ms. Christine Powell, State Reporting or Dr. Shep Critzer director of Student Services (434) 542-5151.
