At the Charlotte County School Board Meeting on December 10th, Karen Thompson explained the purpose of the Innovative Above and Beyond Staff Awards. Each school acknowledges and honors staff members who go above and beyond in their duties and bring innovative ideas and practices to their roles. These staff members demonstrated exceptional innovation in their work and contributed significantly to the improvement of educational processes, student engagement, and overall school performance. Each school identifies and honors one outstanding staff member on a semester basis. The chosen staff received a certificate and a rotating trophy, symbolizing their achievement. The trophy has the inscription "You Make a Difference," along with the school’s name, mascot, and the title "Innovative Award." Dr. Mason presented each member with a token of appreciation.
The School Board extends its gratitude and congratulations to these five staff members for their exemplary achievements and dedication to excellence in education.
