Operation Food and Friendship

Charlotte County Public Schools is continuing a program to provide healthy snacks and meal supplements over weekends and holidays for identified students and families who need them. In past years, Operation Food and Friendship has been able to provide support to over 90 identified students per year. Our goal is to collect enough non-perishable pre-portioned items to send backpacks home with these students on a weekly basis. This is not just a “school” situation, this is a community effort. The families receiving these meals may be your neighbors or even members of your own family. Please consider making a donation to help families here in Charlotte County.

Our program will operate from late August until early May. All donations can be sent to Phenix Elementary School which is the host school for this program. We thank you in advance and sincerely appreciate any and all donations.
